regarding Eagle Lake. Does one side of the lake offer better kiting for learning than another? the pic above shows a nice long sandy beach......which side of the lake would that be?

Thanks!!

The wind mostly comes from the opposite side from where we were. Side on or on-shore at our camp spot - at least while we were there. Bill and Anna at Kite Zombies could give you more info. Easy to drive the RV down to the beach and the cleanest, hidden, never used outhouse is conveniently there too.

We added a new video from our stop at Waddell Creek. Super sweet waves and a really nice KOA close by. If you go there, google the riding etiquette that is on-line and be respectful of the locals and their rules . This is not a beginner area as you are in the "Red Triangle of the Shark Food Chain" and the beach is small with rocks that doesn't leave a lot of room for error. We parked at the back of the lot to show respect with our 50 feet of RV.
