I am in the process of selling my place. During the buyers inspection he had a sewer scope performed. The plumber that did the scope found an 8 foot backgraded section of line (belly) about 30 feet from the house and 4 feet from the city main. He said besides that the sewer is in great shape.
I am waiting for a call back from the plumber to find out some things about the inspection. Like is there standing water, how much pipe is covered if there is, and does he recommend fixing the problem. I have lived in the house for 10 years without an issue as far as the plumbing goes. I know the buyer would like it fixed however.
Assuming he says it needs fixing, I will want to get an estimate from at least 3 people, so does anyone have any references for this type of work. Sadly the section that needs fixing is in the street so it will be expensive I am sure to churn up the street. I do live on a private drive, so I will have to foot the bill.

| Trouble comes in 3s apparently, or at least 2s. I also need a plumber reference for the Vancouver/Camas area. I have a shower drain that needs fixing. |

It scares me when I go on NW Kite and see a thread titled plumbers. This is where I go to get away from plumbing! LOL.

| Thanks for the replies. Its funny that I have posted two of these in the last year. I had already contacted a couple folks by the time the responses rolled in. Decided to go with Titan Plumbing. The guy who came out was pretty nice, gave me what I thought was a reasonable quote, and will get it done tomorrow. Its too bad I live on a private street. They ahve to pull up the street and its my cash. If it was a public street the city would have to do it. |
