Viento Downwinder

I'm hoping to get some downwind love from Viento to HR this summer. I know the river and wind really well between Swell and the Event Site. What's the section between Viento and Swell like for wind changes (on a classic summer's day) and underwater surprises?

I havent done this one yet, but have read about it on this forum lots. Im sure a search will get you some good info in addition to the replies you'll see.

12m to 7m wind, and everything in between, just make sure you go on a day where it is well filled in

Doing a downwinder sounds great to me and I would love to join in!

beware the launch. Several very good kiters have had problems there. also watch for dead spots along the way. Make sure you are competent with self rescue before you try this downwinder.....
