People don't think before they buy! Is that the asking price? |

Hilarious! I remember when i was getting into kiting eye balling that thinking it was exactly what i needed and would fully save me in a tight spot. These things apparently depreciate more gracefully than RPM's |

haha just watched this demo on the cabrinha 2004 recon system:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIHpoYRqWzs
The recon system looks like it would invert the kite immediately in gusty/high wind.
cant believe anyone though this was safer than normal. _________________ live for the next windy day |

The recon system was for relaunch mainly. Pinch in the back wing tips, kite relaunches! Shit was awesome back in the day! _________________ I heart dangling |

Thank you all for saving me from being "that guy" last year. As a result, I got a 2009 Liquid Force kite in great shape for just over $200.00 instead of ending up blowing my money on Ebay! |

Umm, try flying a 2002 slingshot fuel at rooster rock.
relaunching used to consist of swimming to the side of your kite to get at a 45 degree angle to it then thrashing about and praying that it would lift off the water.
If you ever pulled the release..the one with the wrist leash.... it was instant death spiral, swim to shore, and untangle. _________________ Bury me standing cause I won't lay down!!

LOL! Yeah, those were the good old days. The fifth line retrofit from Slingshot was a game changer for my 204 fuels. "What? It's possible to relaunch a kite even after you hit the safety? I mean, it's possible to relaunch a kite at all?!?" |

pepi, maybe you should sponsor a contest on the sandbar. call it old school. all contestants can only use the kites you have in your storage. the older the kite the higher you score. that would be entertaining. _________________ www.jimstringfellow.com |
