So what are the forecasts for tomorrow? Is it going to blow better in the gorge or on the coast? Thermal winds tomorrow? Jones? Sauvies? Someone was saying that it was going to blow at the coast today - but the sensors did not show a lot of wind today. Did anyone get out? |

Looking at just the general weather forecasts on the internet it is showing light winds on the coast and pretty strong winds in the gorge. Sevenson has winds forecasted 10-20 mph, Hood river 15-20 with gusts to 30 and Rufus showing 25-35 mph. Not sure how solid the forecast is, but looks like the trend is wind stronger the further east you go in the gorge.
Looking more - some forecasts show some wind on the coast - might wanna take kites just in case.............. |

Manzo was light yesterday (10-15) and today (7-10) but it picked up tonight. Waves were small, and low tide most the day. Was plenty of wind for the speed |
