Hello,
I am on the faculty at a small college in Butte, Montana. Have been kiting for a couple years now and would like to offer a snowkiting course through the college. Thought it would be beneficial to gain an instructor certification but am having trouble finding any courses near Montana. IKO and PASA both seem to offer snowkite certifications but I can't find any actual courses being offered near Montana - I think North Carolina was the nearest. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Can certifications could be completed in a "distant" or on-line manner?
Final question, are there any colleges offering snow-kite courses? It may improve our chances of offering a course if others are already doing so.
Thank you in advance! John Amtmann |

Hey there, U of M Duluth has offered a snow kite course in the past. Most likely you will have to travel to complete your course, unless you have enough people doing the course you maybe able to get an instructor to come to you. Hope that helps, LM |
