Yeah, I'll be there tomorrow. Shocked But by then the rains will stop, the brown water will have flushed out of Kailua bay, the trades will be blowing 25 knots and the sun will be shining--right? Right???

I just got back from 10 days there. Never seen it rain so hard before. Awesome swell for 4 days on the trip. Should have done some surfing. Kited 5 days but shoulda been 7.

lol...that said...you can make it through. The beaches are fubared with shit, and logs are floating around, but I got a great session in. No one is out.

Poo-kiting is awesome as long as you take a dip in something radioactive after....

Yeah man, it's been wet, nasty, and kind of chilly out here.

Big nasty swell for the past handful of days too.

(And there's STILL swarms of Jeep and Mustangs all heading out to Hana. It never ends.)

I'm starting to miss the sun already.

What's up Maui bradahs. I'm 135lb intermediate rider. I'm going to Maui for 3 weeks mid april to early May.

I got a 9m already. But as my small kite, should I buy 5m, 6m, or 7m?.....

Oh serious. Shocked

That's cool....I already bought a 6m Naish Cult just because it was super cheap...hmm...

Btw it might have been the way I worded my post, but I want to build a 2 kite quiver, not a 3 kite quiver.

Should I start shopping for a 5m kite? I don't think it will be such a big difference unless by 5m, you guys are implying a 4m or 5m as my top-end kite which would make a 6m too big..

Well it's blowing 25 kts, it's not raining, and most of the brown water is gone! Good enough for me! Wink Very Happy kind of smells like Sauvie's Island after a CSO though...

I am hoping that things back off just a bit so that my 9 meter will do the trick when I go in a couple of weeks. If it keeps up like this - I am going to have to snag a 6 meter before I go!

I lived in HI for 5 years and if there is one thing you can try to prevent is do not hurt yourself. HI has some of the worst incompedent doctors around, this is coming from a living nightmare experience. My health went to shit when I lived their cause these crappy doctors were f'eing me up. My first surgery the doctor forgot what he was supposed to do and cut me in the complete wrong place and when I woke up he said he should of asked me but I was already under and he giggled about it and it only got worse from there. So please anyone that visits Hawaii needs to know that their medical system is beyond garbage. So don't get hurt and if you do, get your care back on the mainland.

Mrlaroo,

You probably don't want to name hospitals or doctors names, but which island was the bad experience on?
