Pretty cool to watch my good friend Adam Vance totally reinvent himself in the kiteboarding world and rise to the top of the cream in the race world. Here is a short video of a recent trip he did over to Maui to work with Rista on fin development.

Rumor is that they are working on maybe one day getting into the Olympics, and hopefully Adam will get his shot at going. Right now he is the top Canadian in the world... Very cool...

Anyone know if there will be another Hood River (Cabrinha) Race Series this Summer?

what ever you do try it out. I love it. I suck tho..but I love it.
Oahu is perfect for the sport because of the light winds over here.

It is a very different sport. much better training. I bet you the guys winning races are putting in some hours in the gym.

Not taking anything away from my friend Adam Koch... If the Olympic thing does become reality, Koch will unfortunately have much stiffer competition from a much wider field of top racers for a US slot. But, Koch has also shown an amazing ability to reinvent himself and is putting his past Olympic sailing experience to good use.

So, go both Adams!

AK is currently competing in the Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Adam Koch was world champion in 2010 and has consistently finished on the podium in most of the races he's competed in.

Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil ADAMADAMADAMKOCHKOCHKOCH... YOU HAVE ALOT OF SUPPORT FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST TRULY CORE ... Whoa, stop yellin man. This post was about my good friend Adam Vance.

I agree, Adam Koch will do very well and for sure he is top of the heap... not just in the US, but internationally. In fact he would most likely crush Vance as well. Here is too both of them getting that Olympic shot!

Not going to happen by Rio 2016 (even though Brazil would be the perfect venue). I can see it happening in the distant future though.
