Anyone tried snow kiting out china hat rd? http://g.co/maps/s6d9w
I had a thought in the shower the other morning. I recalled while going to check out the lava caves a pretty flat area just east of the cinder cone with very little trees. I think it's on public lands as you can 4 wheel in the area I believe. Any ideas? |

snowkiting for us 360 and 503ers is a pain in the ass.

Yeah, I went and checked it out and looks possible. But there's been little snow around bend this year. Doesn't seem like something that would be consistent. |

Thanks Stan, yea I was figuring that with the massive lack of snow around here. I have been searching for spots that do not require a sled or snowshoeing but it looks like if you want to find some good snow that might be the only choice. If I come across a sweet spot I will let you know. Thanks for your input. |
