I can't wait for this Bro, this is just what I needed to get through the winter until I can start kiting again. Been working on handle passes all winter in my bathroom (got a rig set up on a burly shower rod). I can basically do them now. If you're posting here I'm sure you'll have a set up at the party. Maybe we could have a pass off until we pass out Bro!!
Also got a sort of garage band thing going on. It's just me but it sounds like a whole band cause I've got some electronic drum beats going on in the background. I could bring the set up if you want to hear some of my original stuff. I'll be stoked to meet you Bro, I follow your threads and pretty much idolize anyone that can toss a handle pass. Kite loops are next, those look bad ass too! I'm pumped up! My kite's aren't but I am. I got a friend I might be able to talk into coming too, he's a windsurfer, is that cool? or not? Cool

Ok, the details are coming out....the party pad is overlooking the spit??!! Can't wait for this one Bro! Sounds like you might have an "open Riff" evening. I've only got three good hardcore original Riffs but they are pretty $%&! hardcore and , well I like em. Actually I think they Rock! This will be the first public debut of them, if it's "open Riff night" that is. Still got snow?? If so, let's build a kicker Bro. I'm surprised how well my kite board works in the snow. I'll probably take the fin off, unless it's Deep stuff, to throw down harder. Also put on an extra layer of carbon on my old surf board turned kite board so I can hit those sliders this year! I want to do it strapless and waxless, I don't know of anyone doing it yet with a set up like mine. Hope to blow a few minds this year. Not sure where Forrest gets the hating thing Evil or Very Mad

.....the only thing that I think sucks real ass are those winches he was making a big to do about. All the footage I saw of that thing pulling people around with nothing better to do, well it's self explainatory. Rolling Eyes

I can't wait to party with all you dudes though, I think we'll all get along just fine.
Are we wearing shorts and jerseys over our clothes? Can I pitch a tent near by? Would it be cool to bring a generator? It's a little on the loud side but always worth it in the morning when I need some coffee. I'll make extra.
One more thing, got this idea off of a trampoline...got a 360 degree hoop that I wear around my waist and it really helps with the handle passing, had a couple of harsh wipeouts but I'm getting it. One of these days I'll figure out how to post a pic and show youall what I'm talking about. Got to be on the skinny side but it's got some possibilities. Kite loops, coming up this summer....watch for em!! Very Happy

On the night of Saturday, February 4th, I'm throwing a party to celebrate moving-out of a home that I lived-in for 10 years in Hood River. It's shaping-up to be a Savagetanic one; with a keg of PBR, bonfire in the back, and crushing riffs on the stereo. You may be wise to bring some extra beer.

I'd suggest parking either somewhere on Serpentine, or Hazel Street and walking the rest of the way. You could also park on Sherman Street behind the County Courthouse and walk up the stairs, go left on Hazel (first street off the stairs), then left again on East Eugene.

The address is 102 East Eugene Street in Hood River.
