Any thoughts on Dalles Mtn for Wednesday?

Snowing like a bitch out here in the Gorge... I'm gonna go check out Dalles Mountain tomorrow and try to snowkite. Who knows what the wind is going to be...

I have gotten over a foot of snow at my place here in Cougar WA. Trees have fallen in my front and back yard, so my woodpile will be growing after this melts, woohoo!

NOAA for Mt hood meadows on Wed. is wind SW 30-35 mph increasing to 50-55 with gusts up to 80 mph...................

I've used this link for to get some indication of current wind up on the bluff.

Anybody in the Dalles comment on the converage up there right now? I'd also like to hear how the goat trail is getting up there...I recall some sketchy sections.

Someone on the local weather page just said "snowing and blowing" in the upper Dufur Valley. The wheat fields might be good out near Dufur this afternoon... And I've found that the High Prairie area is a bit more consistent that up on The Dalles mountains. That might be an option this afternoon too.

just came from the dalles, no snow last night down low, raining hard. Might be a bit thin, unless it cools down and dumps tonight

My forecast call as of 11PM tonight, for tomorrow. 6 inches of snow up at Dalles Mtn, but no wind... Looks like hitting Meadows is the call.

I've never been able to score at Dalles Mtn. When there is snow, there is no wind. When there is wind, there is no snow.

Call a certain mexican for the report. We scored behind his house before. High prairie is the shit, almost always windy.

I really want to find some spots around here that are at least somewhat decent for snowkiting and I'm eager to learn more about the snowkiting around here.
