Saw the rig pre Molokai crossing on the beach and looked sweet and i am sure a blast to sail.

Tho the ex Vietnam war heli pilot was psycho and got way to close to me mid air and fully back winded kite while photographer was hanging out in a harness on the skid filming. I am sure it was unintentional but the same guy also back winded Doug Hunt while windsurfing and flattening him while adding some nice bruises to his trip. Was great also to see Matt Schweitzer and some friends of many years ago and catch up on our lives.

Would still love to get a copy of the footage they shot that day and the bays over on Molokai offer some great riding not to mention a great op to help the local Molokai kids.

I think I saw that kite boat launching and landing from a house in the sprecks area on Maui. It was right by this cam but the house is hidden by the trees. It was pretty amazing the way they negotiated the sketchy launch!
