Awesome video! And perfect timing as I just did my first two glides last week at Skyline, UT. Unfortunately it was hard to get a lot of speed coming down as there was still brush and metal stakes sticking above the snow. That added a real fun aspect to the day. I felt safer in the air then on the ground lol. Only problem is I was not on new lines (although I check my gear after every few sessions) and I did not have a backup in case my harness hook snapped. Never thought of that 30' up with all of that tension and cold on the harness hook. Yikes

Any experienced gliders on this post? Aside from what is in the video, any tips for safety you can add? I would like an elaboration on what backup equipment you use, where to buy it and how best to set it up for maximum safety.
