Whether it seems like it or not, you have been welcomed by the others in a typically regarded fashion of both welcoming you and bashing you all in one action. If you could explain a little more information about your kiteboarding skills, interests and where you are likely to be residing, it might be a bit easier for us to provide you with both information and advice about kiteboarding in "our" area. Are you moving directly to Hood River (The Columbia Gorge) Oregon, or are you going to be in Portland, Seattle, or are you basically travelling around the States. I'm not a pure freestyler nor waverider but I like both. I apreciate flat and wavy water. The wind range I prefer is 15 to 30 knts. I don't know yet where to move. So I'm looking for some information.
