| debating between kiting the ponds or kayaking lake creek(worlds greatest play river) anyone thinking of kiting. dont want to be alone!!

| I hope it is as good as it was today. First time for me. 10 meter winds incoming tide and 2 other kiters both on 10s. RPM reunion. Kited 12 to 2 with great powered conditions. If you are a first timer you will love it, just be careful of the shallow water. Boosting big over 6 inches of water is not healthy and it is 6 inches everywhere except the main channels which take some exploring to find. I was a little nervous about the cold water but was not bad at all with heavy wetsuit with hood, booties and gloves. Nice beach to self launch as long as it is not high tide. There was also a downed tree and root wad that worked great to hook your chicken loop to for a self launch. The other reason to go is for the butter. It felt like I was wakeboarding on a dead calm day. When I left at 2 the crew from Longview were just pulling in for an afternoon session. Ride hard and stay safe!

50+ degrees warm Sunday, wind up to 20mph+ Saturday night ebb tide by 10:30.
Sounds like Becca & Rob will be there by noon to shred it up!

| Great session today. On the water by nine and off 11. No one there until I was packed up. Was nice when the tide was in. The low tide leaves quite a small channel. I thought it was best up at the point with a little baby swell. Happy new year and what a way to start!!

Was in Brazil for a month this Nov-Dec. Was thinking "Gee, 50 degrees cooler and it'd be The Ponds". Great spot!
