Do fat skis make you back check all cliff drops? I only watched the first 5 minutes cause I gotta run, but I'm looking at getting a set of skis soon and just curious...

back in the day (that would be my teens and 20s) I found myself leaning back more with skinny skis off drops in pow. Fat skis tend to make me want to lean forward and charge it more. I demo'd a set of Nordica Raddicts last season(big fatty's) and I liked em better on everything, even groomers. Can't go wrong with some gotamas or prophets IMO.

Forrest...

186cm Prophet 115cm (last years green ones)... This year they are the Influence 115... same ski. Got Rossi Axial2 140 binders on them... In great shape. I am on the 185cm Mr. Pollard's Opus this year. The new Opus is awesome in the soft stuff, but the Prophet 115 still rules the roost as the git it all done ski.

These are in Pepi's shop for $599.00... Bro price... $475.00 bones... One of the hardest charging fats out there. There are wider, but none as performance (carving and pow) as these skis...

Adios, Bammer

I had to turn this off right away b/c of this guys park style in the big mtns's, def the rider and not the ride.

A mid-fat rocker with deece flex will put you in the driver's seat charging head-first rather than ass-back position.

Rockin' the 3Zero by Faction Collective in a 191 and behind a kite or in the steep POW, it's a pissed off grenade throwing stick that is light enough to swing fast and huck quick.

A couple of cents for ya Idea
