ok, not dead, but some of the og kiters and I have been soo stoked on biking lately with all the good weather. body armor boys unite!!!

Good times for sure Brian! I love all the people talking about body casts and ER and shit. Thanks Captain Obvious' mom. Guess I should stop driving or leaving the house too just to be safe. Didn't think there'd be so many people afraid to enjoy life on here.
Jeff, if you wear your pads over your butt you're probably not doing it quite right, haha.

To the nay sayers... yeah, I got into it just this year. It's like the addiction kiting was in those first years. And yeah... I got a bit confident and ended up in the ER... that was in early oct in Whistler and I still can't sleep through the night due to the pain in my ribs- almost 3 months later.
And yet, I get up everyday thinking about riding the bike and learning more! Bummed I'm not at the level yet to hang with the boys...

| I got into mountain biking two years ago. Love the ride! Nothing better than being in the air. No ER visits for me, but I have run into two trees, and strained a muscle in my shoulder.

I've found it's mostly mental. And if you do end up in the ER, take the time to recover properly and you'll be back at it better than before!
