I got my forester at Bob Stone. I dont take it back there for services or anything though. It was a really good deal also just a little more than I was finding them on Craigslist for and much nicer. _________________ I heart dangling |

When I was shopping lithia was the most expensive by far. I went online and started shopping with internet sales departments at a couple dealerships. I don't care about anything but the bottom line price. Told them to give me their absolute best, lowest price. Chose the lowest. Everything was done online up to the point of signing the papers and picking precisely which vehicle off the lot. Super easy. My advise.is to not even waste time visiting dealerships til after you have ironed out a price, naturally they hate that because it leaves you always in control and they can't "work you over" with pitches, numbers, wow factors and bs. Also, secure your financing ahead of time as well either by negotiating a finance rate through the dealership or through a credit union. Whatever percentage they offer you at a dealership can be lowered by negotiating. For instance if they offer 4.9 you can get it for 2.9, maybe less by stickling. I hate interacting with car salespeople so this method lessens that greatly. _________________ Take the red pill... |

I bought at Bob Stone and was happy. MC is right...if you know exactly what you want and what price you should be paying(new car) then I think that is what you can get. I felt like any haggling was over one or two hundred bucks. Financed with them...rate was as good as I could get and it was simple. |

autoland auto brokers thru my credit union. Told them what cars and options/colors i was interested in, they found them, and gave me the price for each. picked one, and they met me at the credit union with the car. they pull from dealers in or, wa, and id. They do charge you (only if you buy), but the price i got was better than anything i could have gotten on my own. Super easy, two phone calls and get the car. |

I'll second a suggestion for Autoland and other similar credit union services. Easy, haggle-free car shopping. |

+1 for Bob Stone. Find an ad in the Sunday paper for the car you want. Take it to Bob Stone and have them match it. Those ads are pretty close to cost. We got a great deal and are happy with their service. |

We bought our Subaru from Dick Hannah in Vancouver and we were highly satisfied. They went above and beyond, their service and professionalism is superb. They shoot you straight and aren't into the old school car dealer tactics of the past. Awesome. Go there. |
