Best way to store kites

was wondering what is the best way to store kites. In their back pack they come in or in a bigger bag where they are not so compressed.

Just make sure they're dry and sand free. Otherwise, it doesn't matter how compressed they are.

keep them in a cool, dry place. Usually up higher so mice can't crawl in the bag if they are in a garage. I would not really worry about a bigger bag.
