Hey Wydaho!
If you have a Wydaho snowkite pad I would be into a swap around February/March! 
My place in Seaside is not a bad base camp for hitting all the northern spots, but all Sept. weekends are currently booked...if you are interested in mid-week let me know. The Fall can be very nice too.
I don't know about rental houses up near Ft. Stephens, but a lot of people like the KOA which is right there.
