Just got back from Maui and finally got to put together some videos. I just got a Slinghot Lunacy 129cm and got to try it out for 8 days in 30mph+ wind. I would recommend Maui to anyone, it is a magical place.

This video was captured with a GoPro line mount and a station HD 1080p camera. Nothing professional just for fun.

Nice little vid! I saw you earlier in the season rippin it up over in one the sandbar kiddie pools (north end)... you were going really big that day too (I was shadowing my wife as she was practicing with a trainer and I kept say "whoa!" and "holy shit!" and she thought she was making crazy mistakes... I told her the guy with the mask was getting some huge air).

I also windsurfed right by you way early in the season at Rowena, just before I switched sides.

Hey, personally I think the mask is a GREAT idea... I've really wondered why it hasn't caught on. Seems like no matter how much sunscreen I pile on my face still feels like its been in front of a furnace at the end of the day. Maui Sun Amor? Can't find them on-line... the only masks I've seen like yours are what are known as full head gear paintball masks.

Yeah D-Prep! I lived and kite in the caribeans 2 years ago and the mask really helped! I met another guy down there who was using a hockey goally mask for sun protection. He looked scary like from the movie Jason but it worked for him.

At this point I am willing to wearing anything to prevent sun burns. All my family members have skin sensitivity to the sun so I had to figure out this solution so I can kite. My mask is a JT paintball mask and it works great with a little antifog on the inside lense and some RainX on the outside! Also they are cheap, $50 bucks or so depending on which online store. Fortunately, Vancouver WA has the largest paintball (http://www.paintball-online.com/) store in the US so only 15 minutes from my place.

It may depend of the sun screen you're using. You want to make sure your scree has broadspectrum UVA and UVB protection which some larger brands don't carry. Head Hunters has worked out really well for me as well as Doc Martins of Maui
