I have a 2010 Best Redline Bar with their new ejection system. Three times now, the system has ejected without me realeasing it. Kind of like your skies ejecting when you don't want them to. A real pain. Its happened with a gust, right as I'm putting my board on after body dragging to it.

I keep making sure its together correctly before I go out, with no sand in the way, etc. But I'm starting to loose faith in it.

Anyone experience a similar problem with Best's new Redline Bar?

Check in with Jim Bison at New Winds. I had heard there was a small batch that had a lighter than designed release point. I think it is covered under warranty. I haven't had any problem with mine but it's probably because I have sand in it!

The first time I used the red line bar, this happened to me too.

Since then though I always check to make sure the eject is pressed all the way down and then I don't touch it. I haven't had any issues since.

When you first launch your kite and you are hooking in the chicken loop/donkey dick. Are you pulling up on the eject at all?

Best has a couple of replacement collars that you can use to increase the release pressure on the bar. I have only had it eject on me once. As mentioned, check in with Jim Bison.

When I am riding I will occasionally just check the eject to make sure it is seated properly. I haven't had any issues since.

speaking of the best redline bar.....

So I got a replacement part for it and I am trying to put it back together. How in the hay do they expect me to get the little red loop from the Donkey D back through the other plastic piece!? Hopefully someone knows what I am talking about.

please advise

Here dude. Check this link:

Near the bottom there are instructions on how to do what you have asked.

Also if you cant make it to the shop right away you can put one layer of electric tape on the inside. I did this and it worked so well I never bothered getting a new cuff.
