Hey,
I just bought my first GoPro yesterday so I can finally have some pics of this crazy stuff we do but I lost that damn USB connection for it in my excitement. I know people lose their GoPros a lot so I was just wondering if any fellow local kiters had an extra one of those black USB cables that fits into your GoPro? I don't know much about the cord because I lost it before I could even really look at it but you probably know what I'm talking about if you've owned one.
Also, thinking of going to Jones or Hoodie today from Portland so maybe I could pick you up if you live around Portland and give you a ride for your troubles. Sorry if this is kind of OT and lame. Thanks for reading, hope I didn't waste too much of your time haha! _________________ Live to kite another day |

I don't have a GoPro but I would bet money it's a standard "micro" or "mini" USB connection. Take it in to your favorite electronics store and tell them you need a USB cable. Show them the GoPro and they can get you one with the correct end. The cable should have a standard large USB connector on one end for your PC and a smaller connection on the other end for your GoPro. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |

No problem. Most electronic gadgets these days are standardizing on USB for charging/data transfer. So if you have a few gizmos around your house (smart phones, digital cameras, etc) chances are you probably already have a compatible cable from one of them.
If not the cable bin at Goodwill/Salvation Army thrift stores are good places to find replacements on the cheap. Also if you live on the east side the Free Geek thrift store has bins of cables. It's not a bad idea to just keep an extra or two in a drawer somewhere for when you can't remember where you left the damn cable _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |
