Anyone kited Moorea or Bora Bora?

Never been but have(rich) friends who go all the time. There are tons of flat water and wave options. Not too many waves in the winter though. If you really want to get the whole experience, charter a boat and they will take you to places that you probably could not even dream up.

You must be a baller to even be considering this trip, so a boat is probably not out of your price range. If you go I hope you post some pictures on here, it will be epic!!

I kited both places about 5 years ago (honeymoon). Crazy expensive but the water is insanely clear to the point of looking like your board is floating on air. Kited Bora Bora 2x, there is decent wind (December) from the North. I was on a 10M most of the time and a TT, but there are also some good breaks around Bora. Morea is also cool for kiting in several directions. Really cool place overall, people are cool, very remote so food and living is way steep. You will love it when you are kiting down there, on Bora there is a cool little kiting spot (there are lessons there) I can't remember the spots name but it is sort of narrow with deep water in between shallow coral. Rad for sure
