still in R&D phase so not sure where to go. Last time I was there set up base at St. Johns. Rented a power boat and went out to the indian islands for snorkle and willie T on Norman island for some drinking. Not sure what the kite scene is? |

Talk to/ email Bill, owner of Tortola charters. I didnt do any kiting while there but talking to his wife on our trip she had some info but it has slipped my mind (the free flowing rum punch may have had something to do with that). |

The moorings runs a huge operation in the BVI, they are the McDonalds of the sailing world and you will pretty much know what you will get. As far as kiting, there are some great winds behind the reef out by the Bitter End, I have been going there sailing for years and one of the reasons I am getting into kiting is I became really interested after spending hours watching kiters there over the years. Last fall a kite boarding event there was hosted by Richard Branson . I know the general manager of the Bitter End and she is also a kiter too..

Talk to Scott at the bitter end yacht club. He will point you in the right direction and is the go to guy at the kite school on virgin gorda. |

We rented a 41' sloop from moorings for a BVI trip this january, not exclusively to kite but brought the gear. Ended up kiting at the bitter end on virgin gorda, anegada and sandy cay. 13m every session. |
