The Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association is hosting their annual Windfest windsurf and SUP industry demo weekend with demos, lessons, music and food events/clinics running all day both Saturday and Sunday.
Due the size of the event and the Event Site being entirely rented by the CGWA for this specific event, Kiteboarding Launch/Landing access at the Event Site is temporarily not allowed Saturday and Sunday at the Event Site.
The Sandspit and Marina Beach are both completely open for kiteboarding launch and landing access for the entire weekend and are the best alternative access solution for kiteboarders wishing to kite while visiting Hood River this weekend.
Also, the first CGWA SWAP MEET of the year will be hosted on Sunday in the Expo Parking lot.

:: SATURDAY, JUNE 25
Free Outdoor Concert at the Waterfront Park
* Time: 6-10pm
* Don Placido and Friends start the night. Headliner is Current Swell, a surf roots rock band.
* FREE and all ages
* Food: Solstice Wood Fire Cafe will serve fresh pizza onsite, Tropical Snow Cones will cart through for your sweet tooth, and Full Sail and Naked Winery will keep you hydrated.

:: SUNDAY, JUNE 26
Swap Meet
* Time: Sellers arrive at 7am, buyers at 8am. Runs until 1pm.
* Location: Expo Center Parking Lot, across from the Event Site
* Cost: Seller fee of $10 goes toward CGWA programs.

:: CLINIC SCHEDULE, JUNE 25TH AND 26TH AT THE EVENT SITE
11am: Freestyle clinic with Wyatt Miller
12 noon: Loop clinic with Whit Poor
1pm: Ladies loop tips and motivation with Ingrid Larouche (bring your gear!)
1pm: Intro to windsurfing lessons with Big Winds inside the Hook (pre-register in the morning at the CGWA tent at the Event Site).
2pm: Sail tuning for power and control with Bruce Peterson
3pm: All about fins with Makani

:: GORGE BLOWOUT
A fun and challenging 17-mile downwinder from Stevenson, Washington, to the Event Site in Hood River, Oregon.
* Date: Wind-dependant, either Saturday or Sunday
