I'm getting to the point that I want to start working on some kiteboarding tricks. Does anybody know of a good youtube channel or something where they have either instructional videos or just videos/slow-mo of people doing the tricks so I can study them? Preferably videos with the tricks named so I know what the heck I will be attempting.
Also any advice people have would be appreciated. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |

Hi Youkai,
I think the 'progression' series of kiteboard instructional videos is very helpful for beginner to professional level moves. I'm sure you can find any level of DVD (beg, int, adv, prof) at your local kiteshop. Gives you names of the moves and slowmo video as well as helpful tips.
Hope this helps! good luck!

Thanks guys.
Wylie, what do you use the app for? It seems Andriod has it. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |

Mainly, I watch the embedded videos a lot in my car before I head out onto the water. Zack Price, Stephen Sibborn, and Jim Stringfellow from the Puget Sound area created this app and have done a great job. Unless you are a complete noob, I would not bother with the Beginner app, but I find the Intermediate level to be very helpful.
My current goal is the Front Roll Invert shown in the app.
I'm still watching and praying for a Jones day, but so far with these currents and spring-like gusts... my favorite day is a Roosevelt day. _________________ CGKA Member

Ok sounds good. I'll get the intermediate one and see if it helps. Thanks. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |
