A friend of mine posted this on Facebook. Apparently a "newb" had a kite that was too large for his ability at Alameda Beach. The "newb" wouldn't listen to the experienced kiters about this....I'm not sure if anyone was hurt. Similar thing happened to me once but the kite landed in a tree. Got it out with zero damage.....nice!
