Any HR folk lookin to get their hands dirty to benefit the Kiteboarding Community? The Slider Project has some painting to do! We just need some help putting the final touches on the new kicker. This new kicker is way better than the last one, features a solid sliding surface (not pictured), a steel frame (not pictured), will last for many many years, and is more beginner friendly.

Post to our facebook page if you can come help:

Tomorrow marks the start of the Dance Floor!

Sure. It all starts with deleting my post, then the next thing we know, you and your HBB's (Honey Badger Buddies) will come to Stevie in the middle of the night with a case of cheap beer and take our slider and destroy it cuz you don't care. You just take what your want.

Know why HBB's drink cheap beer? Cuz they don't care. They are just craazy and will drink anything.

Any news on getting this removed? Doesn't look possible to launch as it stands now.

The CGKA will work on a solution to the clean up ASAP.

Nice to have it look like summer for a couple of days!

more solid than it looks - pretty decent dock launch complete with some added greenery that needs trimming

Scot & I are the CGKA site liaison for Stevenson. We're already looking at how to remove this. Unfortunately I left on a Japan trip just before this thing landed, Otherwise I would have went up there with my 'ski when the water was so high. I'll be back in town Tomorrow late afternoon. If we get some high water we'll try and get a crew together to help move it. PM me with contact info if you're willing to help. Please include days & times that will work for you.

Thanks!

i can help on sunday. just let me know what i can do or if i need to bring anything.

gman, were you actually able to launch? with the river lower, i would think it easier but, that launch is a pain as it is without the extra obstacle.

its most of a dock sitting on the rocks - wasn't moving - you could walk to end even with the big rock - pretty ideal for drift launch*
*(your experience may vary)

Hi ,
I was in the shop yesterday and this was mentioned by Pepi . I offered to help being as i'm here for a few days . I was told they need to arrange a permit to do so first .
I didn't really listen after , thanks but....... I believe I caught the permit part right .
Holy Fuck do you guys need a study group , committee and permits to have a bowel movement around here . I'm sure theres a perfectly good reason floating around in someones brain , all you want is to pull some shit out of the river man . I suppose there would be people pulling stuff out of the water daily if it were not so EH ?
It'll all work out in the warsh .
