Does anyone know if there is any "real estate" to launch from Rooster? River still seems really high....

I'm gonna check it out about 2 p.m
There's got to be a way to launch when the water is high.

Does rooster work on a Southerly? Looking at the forcast that seems to be the rest of the week. Unless your source is different from the aviation forecast.

And yes it's possible if you don't mind getting wet. Check out this thread: http://www.nwkite.com/forums/t-21361.html

The second picture shows you how much room we had to pump and launch. I would recommend drift launching to avoid the branches and brambles.

No where to run to, no where to hide. . . Sunny, 52 degrees and no beach.

I'm hoping for your sake that Captain America and his rasinettes received a watch for X-mas/this past holiday season. If they didn't then you'll be asked what time it is. Suggesting one of the following replies/actions:

A) Tell them that it is time for you all to get a watch

B) Tell them that it is 5 minutes later than the last time you came over to ask me what time it was.

C) Bring a cheap watch that you can give to him. I think he would prefer something that matches his American flag.

D) Don't wear a watch

It appears that rip-rap river bank launch is the only alternative. There might be beach far east, through the flooded trails and willow bushes, up in the lagoon area and even that depends upon how high the h20 level is. . .

Have a good session!

Southern wind coming over the mountain is sure to create some wicked swirly wind...but it sounds like that will be on par from your last outing. Southern wind on the coast however is rather schweet this time of year.
