I thought we were betting on first GOOD day at SI.

Just because a brief storm wind comes through and someone gets their 15 up for a few minutes doesn't make that day the FIRST day... Does it?

If I accidentally brushed across a titty at the grocery store that wouldn't count as the first lay of the month (unless of course it wasn't on accident - in that case just count it up).

"Good" at SI means that you are able to stay upwind without hiking, right? Wink

Was no one down there right before the game started to validate my prediction?! Twisted Evil

10-16 is a solid reading on the SI sensor!

Anyone have the charts?

Do I get extra loser points if I went but didn't kite even though it was going off, coz it was too f-ing cold for my tastes?

And how about if I stopped by Jones last sunday on my way back from paragliding, and it was nuking, but I didn't have my kiting stuff with me?

Alright lolly-gaggers,

So the first good Sauvie day was May-F'in Friday the 13th. Nobody guessed it but Chooch I think was the closest with 5/15. I should get a prize too coze as far as I know I was the first one on the water. It was a bonefied good Sauvie day...trust me! Nice opposing current, steady as hell wind, and some fun log-rail features on the shoreline. Nevermind that meanwhile doods were pimpin 10ft swell on the coast..IT WAS PIMPIN!

Good job getting it. What sized kite did you pop the SI '11 cherry with?

Chooch your 5-15-11 guess wins you a "wife beater" 24oz can of PBR.

Slither your prize for sailing it is two-fold. You also get a "wife beater" can of liquid bread, but I know you prefer Rainier or as I like to call it, Ronnyea, that fine French import.

Your second prize is at the SI beach. You can find and collect it on any warm, sunny day. I figured the prize/trophy should be made from materials from the island, so it will have more intrinsic meaning. It will be the half buried mound of diaper balls and empty beer glass bottles left behind by the indigenous crowd.

As for when you two can collect your beers, looking at the calendar it is about 6 weeks till the beginning of July. . .Good winds till then!
