Had a great 8m day here today. I rarely see any other kiters here. Why? It's probably one of the few beaches on the coast where you also have a lifeguard on duty. When the wind died on me one day, I even had a lifeguard offer to give me a ride back to my car in his ATV.

yes, cannon beach is as good as any on a south wind. just a few low rocks to be aware of.

and yes, the lifeguards are great; was offered a lift after a downwinder to haystack rock. Very Happy

on north winds, the North Coast has to be cranking for Cannon Beach to fill in. It seems 10-15 mph less than Manzo, and 5-10 less than Sunset.
