Flash back to 07 that was my LF year. Tons of bar presure, <assult> liquid force, remembers all the email I sent, and it worked out great for me, nothing better then a new line set for warrenty claim. That stopper ball worked great.
Remember 08 . Wow that was best kite boarding truck driver on a flat bed rail car year. I mean what a tank, and the stopper was as hard as a rock to move, and the depwer would stick closed? Dont diss me, I had 3, and all the same.
08 returned, went to flexifoil ion3, talk about getting lifted with the kite at 12. I mean that kite demanded respect. Sent a ton of mails to jennie pierier, mostly complaining about those toy store garbage lines they sold 550lbs. right they broke very quik, did save the kite thou one time, have now learned to just let go,
08 was a amazing close out year I mean can you cry 500 dollar complet kite.
;;;09, wow, moved to slingsot started 07-17m fuel, seriouly what a good kite. Wave granade, awsome stopper < so sweet smooth and locked tight, but thumb ride smooth. Next 09 RPM, dd2 , at first had some complaint but have really grown to love that dd2, I dont ride comp stick any more. Got the 2010 octane 13m, thats a pumping good kite ride it dd2 of course. Recently stepped up and got a 9m octane still fresh and unridden? Really to me the stopper is very important, am so over or under powered, that stopper better be good.
>>>This cabrihna guy say to me today look at my stopper and tell me whats wrong,I just shock my head in dis belief.
;;I still ask the caution guys why they went away from the PU ckicken, they look at me like i speak russian and say <what> but i know they did it to add a working stopper, I know you gorge guys do not use much the stopper but not everybody is lucky enough to ride the gorge either,,, to be continued,

Might as well keep it in the native tongue as it's just about as intelligible:

Granade de onda, tapón de awsome < so sweet smooth and locked tight, but thumb ride smooth. Really to me the stopper is very important, am so over or
under powered, that stopper better be good.

>>>>> The point of this article is; this summer your winter I went to my local spot and rode all my kites just to get a feel about what changed with the new ones!

>>>>>>>> the poeple said how many kites do you have? and how many differant colors, and sizes!! I have never sold a kite and got plenty, most where a thoug of war, a relearning lession in kitting, arm pumping maddness, stopper ball night mare<best>,!

>>>>>>>Some companies do not use a stopper, I am a cruiser , no fancy tricks, no big air, just the person behind the seen! Its beyond me if you can ride hours straight with no stopper to rest on?

>>MY finding was the new slingshot kites are better, but all thats new is not<am not a fan of comp stick>yet? no problem slingshot has hook me up with other bars!
Ruben rides his own bar and I do to!

>> The new kites are like the differance between driving a old car and a new car. THE RPM is a farrari, other older kites are like a train,
..... the 13m octane 2010 was great, good loops, and a range of wind! and can ride it almost to light wind, what I am finding at 15nts almost any kite will work depending on board selection and gusts, the differance is how much power you want to manage,

>>. just to clear my status I am a american, born and raised in california,
>>>> and am a legend of the kite, because I travel to argentina and live endless summers and winters together, plus I know a lot of industry people.

LAST, if my spelling is poor I admit, if you cry about it you must be a english teacher, get real most people know what I am talking about!

thank you!

that actually made sense that time around Wink

yeah compstick is a bit bitter sweet for me.

I love the build quality of the leader lines, main lines and chicken loop. and it has the only swivel and flagging line system I've been able to find that actually works well and stays tangle free. the suicide loop attachment point is great to have too. love it!

but the below the bar depower nubbing(thing your're suppose to grap to adjust sheeting) is too small to grab if you are at full power (gets easier to adjust the more line you have cleated off.

and the stopper ball on the compstick is worthless. I've considered cutting mine off because it simply just doesn't do anything.
