I know! These last couple weeks have been by far, the best skiing of the season! Waist deep powder just two days ago. Can't wait for this week, I'll be resting today and hitting it for the next 4 or 5! I was worried during the dry and warm January we were having but...

coverage is still scant.... really boney down around the hrm chair... pr,s&r,picnic rock, gods wall all require exstreem caution. this next dump should take care of that problem...looks like we should get upwards of 50-70 inches..

we will be up all week again...tracking out the bowls, tree lines and stashes... keep an eye out for slingy stickers on the little womans helemet... give a shout out... we could swap secrect stashes.. have a beer and tell lies

Thinking of hitting it monday but this is making me think twice

TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP THIS MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING. A PERIOD OF EXTREMELY HEAVY SNOW AND VERY
STRONG WINDS IS EXPECTED MONDAY...WITH WHITEOUT CONDITIONS
POSSIBLY MAKING TRAVEL IMPOSSIBLE FOR A BRIEF PERIOD.

WIND...STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
WITH THIS STORM. THIS MAY CAUSE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AT
TIMES. WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 70 MPH ARE
POSSIBLE FOR EXPOSED RIDGES MONDAY...WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS
100 MPH POSSIBLE FOR THE HIGHER SKI RESORT ELEVATIONS.

I was at Bachelor last week and had the same scenario. Winds were blowing so bad had to stop in the middle of the road due to zero visibility. Got to the Mountain and couldn't see the lifts in-front of you. Sounds like Tuesday will be the money for Hood.

Just got back from ski bowl today. Is it possible to have too much snow....? Super deep, wet snow, no winds, still snowing hard when I left. We're talking feet of snow here, not inches. Will be heading out again tomorrow and Wed. The only thing worth skiing right now is the steepest thing you can get to.
