GREAT day at Rooster today! Very Happy 20 knots and buttery goodness. I couldn't believe that Mark & I had the whole place to ourselves. One windsurfer did a short session and was off the water before we started. After that, no other riders, no boats. Just wind and butter. Very Happy

Thanks Mark!

Fun for sure. I was super warm in my drysuit. Man I wish I would have got one years ago. In fact, twice I had to stop and just float in water to cool off.

Wind was only around Rooster so there was very little wave action in the river and Sweet sweet butter on the inside.

Rode from 1-4.

YES for winter lunatics...I was stuck on the mountain, but couldn't help myself, as i was repeatedly checking the RR cam thinking 'somebody has GOT to be out there today?'! Way to go guys!!!! It ultimately ended up being a pretty nice day on the hill too! Wish I could have hit it!

Sad
Stupid work. I saw the cam all day long, just taunting me with its goodness.

You guys need to invest in a snowboard. That is if you are jonesing to ride a board.
It's funny how many peeps love to ride a kite board that still ski...?

Your concept that kiting has an off-season in the Northwest is not valid. Alpine riding is a poor cousin to kite powered sports in all but the best mountain conditions. Thumb's Up

Rooster looks like it's supposed to be half decent tomorrow (2/15) according to the aviation forecast. Anybody have an opinion of whether it will be boardable?

snowbaording has gotten so boring now with kiteboarding in the picture. All year long baby, cold means nothing!! I've surfed all year long for 18 years now so why not kite too. Blow's lame ass Meadows out of the picture by a mile.

Now if its Tahoe, sign me up for that anyday. Makes hood look like a cheap hooker on the street corner of Powells BLVD.
