how would you recommend starting a gigantic bonfire of wet driftwood?

Hopefully in the spring the high water will take most of it away for us, and we won't even need bonfires.

Whatever, they may make for some fun sliders and jibs anyway.

White gas would have been way better, and probably not caused as much smoke. Diesel only burns at sustained temperatures of over 400F, and really needs compression to make it become flammable. Try thowing a match into a bucket of diesel.

That's what I was thinking! As good as everyone is at building things at Post Canyon it should be a breeze. Then L*#% after that! And bring the lab in the last photo for lumber transport!

Unfortunately, it's navigable water, you can't block access to the boat basin.
