Sunday/Monday South Westerly are expected on the coast. I would think the coast is the spot.

I was in Glen Eden recently just south of Lincoln city. We drove south to some beach, can't recall the name (boiler bay maybe), to go clamming. It was way to stormy for clamming, but there were three people out kite boarding.

I am not a kite boarder yet, but an intelligent sailor and very observant.

hey I am free to hit wherever it is good on monday, I would be traveling from the Gorge. I am in need of a nice SW coast session! It would be nice to ride with some new folks, let's see how it looks as we get closer

Any one kiting in the Gorge today? I'm going somewhere, even the spit maybe. Rufus looks excellent at the moment!

Gotta work today, but I'll be tossing some kite gear in the car to see if I can escape for a liquid lunchbreak a the Sandbar.

8am, it's blowing 20mph and is 50F.

Will keep an eye out on the sandbar for any potential wing-men.

Good point about the current at Rufus. It may start getting too windy out there also. Already 26-41 out of the west on the Maryhill sensor. I think I'll just go to the event site around noon. Maybe lure some more cold water crazies out! MLK kitefest at the Event Site!

How does all that debris get cleared out by the time we all start kiting there when it starts warming up??? CGKA clean up party or something? Or does the government do something about it or what?

CGKA Clean Up with Local Volunteers taking care of cleaning up the sandbar to make it as safe and manageable as possible.

Stay posted on NW Kite for Clean Up and Site Improvment dates.
