Underdtow took me out to ponds today for my first time. It was a lot of fun but I ended up pumping the wrong kite (too big). Oh well. A little bit cold but I got some decent pictures. Thanks for the ride Undertow.

Nice! You guys aren't even wearing hoodies - brrrrr!

I opted to trek up Hood today, putting my sweat on - crunchy cold snow, and nuking at the top of the ridge! Went home HR side and the easties were shining with spray off the swell and pink sky sunset! No pics though Sad

Ponds = Fort Stevens parking lot D. Parking lot D is marked on the map on this page: http://www.nwkite.com/guides/sunset_beach/ After you park if you face the outhouse it's through the trees to your right. You kite in the little bay area there. At high tide it's "deep water" and at low I'm told you can walk across the bay (like waist deep).

It was pretty cold. I only had 2 mil gloves and a helmet so I will need to get thicker gloves and a hood before I go out again. My 5/4 wetsuit and 3mil boots did pretty well though. Just don't spend too much time in the drink.

Less than that even. 2" fins are too big, you drag bottom... Glad you guys had a good session! The wind was pretty gusty between Camas & lady Island. Shocked Nice day though!

Water temp is holding at 43.

I opted the the surf session. We had a really nice day at Indian Beach until sunset. Water was actually warmer than what I have felt in July.

Way to get it guys, nice day for December.
