Anybody have some tips on where to stay near Camas Prarie. I'm thinking of going out there to try snowkiting.

Try this place.

http://www.theprairieinn.com/

Its right in the heart of the mega-metropolis that is Fairfield, ID.
Its basic, and clean. Pretty nice couple run the place.

Also hit up buttersmoothcarver here on this forum.
He is a guide in that area and knows the place well.
Enjoy

Great place to stay, close to all spots. Last year, if you told them you were snowkiting they gave a 10% discount Smile

We have stayed at both places and recommend The Prairie Inn. The couple that run it are so nice. You can walk to breakfast and other places for dinner so no worries about drinking and driving. Plus they make cookies for you Very Happy

I didn't like the Soldier Mt. resort because it's a bit of a drive from town and the lady running was horrible couldn't even enjoy the hot tub with out her yelling at us....but to be fair I think someone else is managing it now.
