No question.
Patagonia wooly.
R4 if you are going to kite and surf in winter (dec-jan-feb)
Hooded R3 for every other month of the year.
R3 is almost too warm on sunny days.
But too warm is good.
R4 keeps you toasty warm even with ice on the beach.
