While I was in Peru (will post up some pics) - Dan sent me some shots of his tow partner Ollie on Nelscot Day said it was the biggest faces he has ever surfed - was fun whipping these out in Peru which does have the sickest waves - Oregon gets pretty good too...

I really like that first photo. I count at least 5 Ollies on that tall wall! We watched that swell hit the south coast....... ground shaking power!!.... Thanks for posting those Thumb's Up

WOW, it didn't look ANYTHING like that from the shore!!! Confused
It was so crazy and foamy and constant on shore...it actually looks kinda' peaceful in those shots. Shocked

Unless a local did it incognito I think the answer is no. It sounds awesome but I think it's really hard to get both the big swell and reliable wind. Not sure you wanna be out there in storm wind and rain blowing 0-40.
