Just wanted to see if It would be worthwhile to bring my gear down to the Bay Area or Sacramento as I have to fly down the middle of Dec for a few days any info on where to go and what to bring would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes there is some Kiting in December, mostly at the coast, Wadell always has wind & can have huge swell in December. Wind in the bay aswell, Third ave or Crissy have some good Dec days. Sacto & the delta (Sherman Island) does not really have good winter kiting though.

Bring small kites, big kites, surfboard, kiteskate, twintip, & boots....that should pretty much cover it Smile

Pretty hit or miss these days. We get some breezes as the rainy front comes through but after it rains I'm not a fan of swimming in runoff. This time of year we start to look at Half Moon Bay for southerlies, but the engines that power 3rd Ave or the Delta are pretty much switched off for the season.
