i got off the water about 1 after an hour and a half of insanely gusty windy. now i know the limits of my 6 and myself.

beautiful day, warm and sunny. was fun but, am glad i made it back to the beach in one piece. rooster reading is gusting to mid 40's and Mult Falls had one to 50 at 9:30-ish.

happy birthday mark.

Yeah 8 is my smallest right now.... that may need to change. Headed over and hooked up with Pepi and special K and crew for a fun downwinder out of viento. Wind much more reasonable.

The 5m was right on for me!
Never thought I would get a kite that small.
Another guy had a 4m that seemed plenty for him.

That is the strongest winds on my strapless surfboard so far for me.
The gust and lull spread was worse around 1pm, by 3pm the average
was around 40 and the lulls/gusts seemed to get tighter and I had
a better time (or maybe I just got used to it Wink

And I was stuck in Kailua with crappy wind and rain all day. Twisted Evil Who'd of thought the weather would be better in the Gorge than in Hawaii in November?
