The new Bingen launch site got a cleanup over the weekend. Blackberries, Star thistle and other weeds were removed. Two new ramps were installed. Tons of small rocks were moved from the sand and water. Special thanks to all the following: Everybody's Brewing in White Salmon. Port of Bingen. CGKA volunteers that came out to cleanup. Hope to see everyone enjoying the improved Bingen launch site. Remember this is an advanced launchsite. Have to see what the winds are like on a "normal" day. Launch and land from the upriver side of the little sand spit/ rock pile. The amount of open space surprised me. I am not sure what all of the fuss was about. There is plenty of space for many different users.
