I ran a search on this & the threads are all last year. The links are dead too... Not sure if anyone is still recycling kites? Preferably something for charity, but profit driven is OK too. Very Happy I'd like to see my old first kite recycled rather than in a landfill...

http://twitter.com/Kitecycle - looks like she (Lydia?) couldn't make it work. Bummer. From what I heard the women who were collecting kites in HR were passing them along to her also. Not sure if there are other options but I hope so! I've got some old windsurf sails to get rid of too...

Nak, I am looking for old kites that I can make projects out of.

I want to make board bags - I'm sure I will screw a bunch of them up before I get it right. But if I use your kite and can make a useable board bag out of it I'll give it to you (again, I'm just looking for stuff to work on while I improve my sewing skills).

Nak you better not be recycling that customized mint SS Machine you have. That's a keeper for future vintage racing amigo. Very Happy

I'm stoked to get out on a 20.5m. It's supposed to blow hard tomorrow; I might want to take it out then. I should be able to launch up over the Dalles dam from Lyle.

By the way, I have a 2004 Naish Boxer 9m that I would be willing to donate to a good cause. I'd pay for it to be turned into a kite bag. It is the Superman color scheme.

We are taking any old kites that you have for the material. PM me if you have any kites that need to be recycled please.

I'll take whatever kites I can get and try and turn them into kite bags. No guarantees on the quality - I am still working on my sewing skills.
