I want to do a Floras lake trip.
I can drive or pitch in on gas.
I would want to camp.
I am doing ok with H2o starts. When right wind I can maintain. Not good at pumpn through power zone though. |

Me and two friends from San Francisco plan to go to Floras on the morning of 8/17. We'll be camping but unfortunately do not have room in the car. If you would like to meet up with us there or caravan send me a note.
We'll probably stay a few days.

i am thinking going to floras lake around 17th August. We can Hang out with crew going around then. I could go weekend sooner or later too. ill drive by myself but would be cool to share.
cant smoke in car but if u do elsewhere not my business.
we can do lotsa stops too.
Prob bring surfboard Funboard. might be cool to rent a SUP down there too.

I just left Floras this morning. 4 days of butter mostly to myself. 11 + skim & 9 + TT. Super fun. That place is made for progression.
On to Sherman Island and Lake Tahoe.  |

| Actually camping at Lake Shasta right now. Fam is asleep and I'm trying to make the twelver of PBR into a sixer. I did some research about lakes in this zone and didn't find anything promising. What did I miss? |

Shoulda, coulda. It is tough to time sessions with a two year old, prego wife and RV that gets 9 mpg. Funny, I was using the KZ site for research and hit up Bill R for the inside track. As always: ask Chooch first  |

Ok, so the girlfriend and myself are planning on going to floras to camp from the 16th to around the 21st or 22nd.
Were leaving from HR and have some extra room for stuff, if this helps anyone out let me know. We both are looking to get outta HR for some less busy times on the water, and camping lifestyle.

Bring your puffy coat, fuzzy slippers & plenty of quarters for the showers. Also, wood they sell there is super wet. Bring a hefty ax, kindeling for sure and newspaper. I started the fire early so it was warm post evening sesh.
And if you can't stay up wind, don't hog the shoreline and go down wind to stay out of the way....there was some newbie who couldn't get up on his board hogging the whole thing and dropping his kite too close to people...argh!
Have fun at the butter horn...
