We needed to cash in some miles and Maui seemed as good a place as any to go. So much for "leavin' wind for wind" but it's not as hot as it's been in HR and we got a great deal on a condo in Kihei. The winds been great and we even have a 6' swell today. It's fun to be kiting again with good friends Doug and Flash. Here's a shot Tess took of Flash in one of his few hooked in moves with Peter and I in the background. Having the only Windwing kites always gets some comments. Kyle from Airush gave us a kite and strapless surfboard to try today. It looks like we'll be on our 7M's again. We'll be 5 for 5 today and I will consider doing this again.

| Thats the North Shore, Kite Beach or Kanaha Beach...we have been here 2 weeks and it has been awesome. Had nice 3-4 foot swell this past weekend. Kited at lanes for the first time.....

It's Kanaha, kite beach, East end. Good swell today. I had fun in the waves but the big wind never really kicked in. We were all on 9's except Flash who was on his usual 12M and doing sick stuff as usual. No Stringy so no good pics but Tess took some more I'll see if any are good. I live in HR but I REALLY love kiting Maui. I first sailed here almost 15 years ago.
