Scapoose sensor reading 14g20 already. Anybody else thinking about hitting that this afternoon?

need to blow off steam. I'm bringing the typical Sauvie tool kit : beer and low expectations.

Ummm does that mean it's windy Adam? Or that touch forum sucks?

I called steve dunes (the new mayor of sauvie; a position held by Caesar for almost 5 years) and he didn't answer so I guess that's a good sign

Sauvie must have been drunk because she gave it up like a dirty slut for well over 10 kites and went hard until 7:15 or so. I almost got blown off my 14 at several times.

It sure felt like she was drunk when I was riding her. I got blown off my skim three times in one single tack! pdxMB showed me it was possible to stay glued even though he was riding his flatter/faster skim. I need way better skim skills in gusty chop Smile

Sorry to all if I was the occasional navigation hazard.

It was kind of crazy kiting between a mix of other kooks and folks like Adam and Amery at times.... Big mix in skill levels!

O and to HoneyBee: You missed it by one day. Schedule your dentist appt for 14-July next year Smile

Just stomp on that rear foot Steve.
Avoid letting the board go flat at all cost.
Practice riding the skim on the stopper ball to absorb gusts with your body/board not your kite.
Try stomping the kite to the edge of the window by completely burying the rear of the board... a skimboard "wheelie" if you will. It can help slow shit down when you get super mach'in

Kudos to jr. kraemer for the successful self rescue!!
