I got blown off my skim three times in one single tack! pdxMB showed me it was possible to stay glued even though he was riding his flatter/faster skim. I need way better skim skills in gusty chop Sorry to all if I was the occasional navigation hazard. It was kind of crazy kiting between a mix of other kooks and folks like Adam and Amery at times.... Avoid letting the board go flat at all cost. Practice riding the skim on the stopper ball to absorb gusts with your body/board not your kite. Try stomping the kite to the edge of the window by completely burying the rear of the board... a skimboard "wheelie" if you will.
