not to be a jerk, but don't you have a inflation system on yours that fills everything up at once?

I know I do on my 2010's?

I say we beat up bam bam! Yeah! Thats what we do!

Yes, it all fills up at once, but how do you keep it from deflating between the time you pull the pump tip out and get the valve cap in?

put your finger over the hole. I've found the squeeze method to be fairly ineffective.

if you crash your kite on the leading edge the nipple was designed to pop so that your kite does not..

just pinch it dude.. its not so hard.

I'm sure your Girlfirend. or boyfriend can show you how to pinch a nipple..

been using naish kites for over two seasons now and have yet to pinch the nipple.
I prefer to quickly remove the pump nozzle and covering with my finger. then remove your finger and place the plug over the nipple.
I don't think there is a significant amouint of air that escapes.
If you really want the stopper ball or flapper, bring it to Airtime and see if they can replace the nipple with their own one way design.
not sure why naish uses those but the performance of their kites more than makes up for it.

Stringfellow's got the method! Pump it stiff, put your finger over it, plug it up - what's the question here? Many kites don't use stopper valves in center inflation to give you the option of rolling in from both wingtips. I only use my dump valve if I'm in a huge hurry, and rarely do I deflate my struts (damn you one-pump with your leaky clamps!).

Kids these days... Wink

Finger the nipple, you'll like it. Buyers remorse???? If you're talking the 2010, excellent kite, handles all conditions and turns gusts into smooth wind.

Ahah moment! Found the line extensions in the bag. Comes out of the gate without the extensions. I flew it without them in about 19 and thought it was just a wimpy 10.5.

I pumped up my 12 yesterday and ran a series of test.....pinch, finger over hole, and nothing at all. Found that the pinch.finger and fast nipple placement into hole method worked the best Very Happy
